Print certificates of achievement, completion or appreciation in three clean landscape designs, on A4 or Letter.
Certificate
Type the title, the recipient, the reason, the organisation and up to two signatories, choose a design and print. The classic design has a double border and serif lettering, the modern one a colour band and bold sans-serif type, the minimal one a thin frame and generous white space. All three are drawn with simple borders and type, with no clip art, so they print sharply at any size.
The certificate is laid out for landscape A4 or US Letter and the print dialog opens in landscape. For the borders and colour band to print, enable "Background graphics" in the print dialog and set margins to none or minimum. Print on heavier paper or card for a better feel, and sign above the lines by hand.
Change the title for other occasions: Certificate of Completion, Certificate of Appreciation, Certificate of Participation, Employee of the Month.
How to use it
- Pick a design and paper size.
- Edit the title and presentation line, then type the recipient's name and the reason.
- Add the organisation, the date and the signatories' names and titles.
- Click Print / Save as PDF, check that landscape and background graphics are on, and print.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save it as a PDF?
Click Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" (Chrome, Edge) or the PDF button (macOS) as the printer. Only the document is printed; the rest of the page is hidden.
Why are the borders missing on my print?
Browsers skip background colours by default. Turn on "Background graphics" (Chrome, Edge) or "Print backgrounds" (Safari, Firefox) in the print dialog.
Can I make certificates for a whole class?
Change the recipient name and print again for each person. The other fields stay filled in until you reload the page.
Can I add a logo or seal?
Not in this version: the designs are text and borders only, so nothing has to be uploaded. You can stamp or emboss the printed certificate.
Is anything I type stored or sent?
No. The document is built in your browser as you type and disappears when you close or reload the page. Save the PDF if you need a copy.
