Invoice generator
Fill in seller, buyer, line items and VAT to get a clean invoice you can print or save as PDF. No account, no watermark.
Invoice
Type your details, the client's details and the line items, and the invoice renders as you go: description, quantity, unit price and amount per line, a subtotal, VAT at the rate you choose and the total due. Click Print / Save as PDF and the browser's print dialog lets you save the invoice alone as a PDF, with the rest of the page hidden by a print stylesheet.
The layout follows what tax authorities typically require on a tax invoice: the word "Invoice", a unique number, the date, seller and buyer names and addresses, tax registration numbers where applicable, a description of each supply, unit price, quantity, the VAT rate and amount, and the total. Put your TRN or VAT number in the details field. Requirements vary by country (the UAE FTA and Saudi ZATCA, for example, have specific rules and e-invoicing regimes), so check your own before relying on this layout.
Everything stays in your browser: the invoice is not uploaded, saved or numbered by us. If you need a sequence of invoices, keep the numbering in your own records and change the number field each time.
How to use it
- Fill in your business name and details, then the client's.
- Set the invoice number, date, due date, currency and VAT rate.
- Add a line for each product or service with quantity and unit price; use "Add line item" for more rows.
- Check the totals, then click Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Click Print / Save as PDF. In the print dialog choose "Save as PDF" (Chrome, Edge), or use the PDF button in the macOS print dialog. Only the invoice is printed; the page chrome is hidden.
Is this a valid tax invoice in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
It contains the usual elements (number, date, parties, TRN field, line items, VAT rate and amount, total). Saudi Arabia's ZATCA e-invoicing (FATOORA) requires invoices to be generated by a compliant system with a QR code, which this tool does not produce; use it for quotes and non-e-invoicing cases there. Check your authority's current rules.
Can I add a logo?
Not in this version. The invoice is deliberately text-only so it prints identically everywhere and nothing is uploaded.
How is VAT rounded?
Each line amount is rounded to two decimals, the subtotal is their sum, and VAT is the subtotal times the rate rounded to two decimals. That matches the "per invoice" rounding most authorities accept.
Are my invoice details stored?
No. They live in the page until you close or reload it. Save the PDF if you need a copy.
