Add two to six cities and choose a date. The grid lists the 24 hours of that day in the first city's time, with the matching local time in every other city beside it. Cells inside working hours are shaded, night hours (22:00–07:00) are greyed, and rows where everyone is inside working hours are outlined and ticked.

Working hours default to 09:00–17:00 and can be changed. Each city also has its own working week: Monday–Friday, or Sunday–Thursday for places with a Friday–Saturday weekend such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt. The United Arab Emirates moved its federal government to a Monday–Friday week in January 2022, and most private employers followed, so it defaults to Mon–Fri; change any city if your office differs.

Only hours that fit fully inside everyone's working time count as overlap, so half-hour zones such as India (UTC+5:30) are treated correctly. Daylight saving time is applied for the chosen date. Your cities and working-week choices are kept in the page address for sharing.

How to use it

  1. Add the participants' cities (two to six) with the search box.
  2. Check each city's working week (Mon–Fri or Sun–Thu) and adjust the working hours if needed.
  3. Pick the meeting date. The summary line says how many hours fully overlap.
  4. Read the ticked rows for candidate slots, then confirm the time with the time zone converter if you need a written list.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no overlap on a Friday?

If one city works Sunday to Thursday, Friday is a weekend day there, so no hour qualifies. Try Monday to Thursday, the days both kinds of working week share.

Which countries work Sunday to Thursday?

Countries with a Friday–Saturday weekend, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and Algeria. The planner pre-selects Sun–Thu for those; it is only a starting point, since individual employers vary.

Is there a good slot for Dubai, London and New York together?

Not within 09:00–17:00: Dubai's day ends at 17:00, which is 13:00 in London in winter, before New York starts at 09:00 (14:00 in London). Widening the hours to 08:00–18:00 gives one shared hour, 13:00–14:00 London time (17:00 Dubai, 08:00 New York). The planner shows this as soon as you change the hours.

Does the grid handle the day clocks change?

Yes. Each row is a real hour in UTC and every city's local time is computed for that moment, so a DST switch shows up as a skipped or repeated local hour in that city's column.
